Who: Dan Forest for Governor Rally

What: Dan Forest has served as North Carolina’s lieutenant governor since being elected in 2012. Before entering the political arena, Dan spent two decades as an architect and businessman, serving as senior partner and office president of the state’s largest architecture firm. Dan and his wife Alice reside in Raleigh, where they have four children. He is now running for governor of North Carolina.
All guests over 18 may be asked to show their ticket and/or a photo ID before entering the facility. Cold beverages and restrooms will be available inside of the event. The fairgrounds do not permit outside food or drink to be brought inside the complex.
Once you arrive at the building, you will be screened by event staff & Winston-Salem Police. Please feel free to bring cameras but NO backpacks or large bags will be permitted. See the attached list of prohibited items.
For your convenience, here are security and check-in instructions for this rally:
(1) Arrive Early – Doors to the Annex will open at 1:00 p.m.
(2) Bring Your Ticket and ID – All guests over 18 may be asked to show a photo ID before entering the facility.
(3) No Prohibited Items – Please see the list below of Prohibited Items to expedite your check-in process.
PROHIBITED ITEMS LIST
Alcoholic beverages or any outside food & drink
Backpacks, roller bags, suitcases bags exceeding size restrictions (12”x14”x5”)
Balloons & Balls
Drones and other unmanned aircraft systems
Explosives of any kind (including fireworks)
Glass, thermal and metal containers
Laser lights and laser pointers
Mace and/or pepper spray
Noisemakers, such as air horns, whistles, drums, bullhorns, etc.
Poles, sticks and selfie sticks
And any other items or weapons that may pose a threat to the security of the event as determined by and at the discretion of the security screeners. The Committee to Elect Dan Forest reserves the right to refuse admittance to the event by any person for any reason.
