When: Saturday August 13th at 10AM EST

Contestants can submit entries in 2 categories, mild or hot. Contestants may only enter a category once but they may enter a mild recipe AND a hot recipe. On the day of the competition contestants should arrive 15 minutes early and check in with D.J. Hargrave. Bring entries in a covered container with no more than 6oz of salsa. Recipes will be judge on aroma, consistency, texture, color, and taste. Each category will be scored between 1 and 5 and tallied for the best overall score. The Saucy Salsa contest is open to all non-professional chefs 18 and older.

1st place $100 in market bucks

2nd place – $50 in market bucks

3rd place – $25 in market bucks
