Bring YOUR used books (no magazines or encyclopedias cassette tapes or VHS tapes\, please) to: \nThe Shepherd’s Center\n1700 Ebert Street\n336-748-0217\nMonday – Friday: 9 AM – 5 PM \nClick here to see a map to reach them. \nDedicated volunteers sort and price books throughout the week to prepare for the annual book sale. Textbooks and other selected books are sold on the internet during the year to support our programs and services for older adults in the community. In this way\, we are being good stewards of the donations made to us during the year. \n  \nAbout: The Shepherd’s Center of Greater Winston-Salem is an interfaith ministry that promotes and supports successful aging by providing direct services\, volunteer opportunities\, and enrichment programs for older adults. There will also be exciting raffle baskets and a raffle for the Fundraiser Quilt\, with all proceeds benefiting local quilting programs and initiatives. \n“Whether you’re a seasoned quilter or just beginning to explore the craft\, the Stitcher’s Showcase offers something for everyone\,” said Debra Stoltz\, Stitcher’s Showcase 2025 Quilt Show chair. “We are thrilled to bring the quilting community together for a weekend of creativity\, inspiration\, and fun.” \nAdditional Highlights: \n\nRaffle Baskets filled with quilting goodies\, gifts\, and more\nThe “Prairie Star” Fundraiser Quilt\, with proceeds going toward local quilting education\nA Quilter’s Market offering a wide range of quilting tools\, fabrics\, and accessories from regional vendors\nShop The Boutique for handmade items such as ornaments and baby blankets\nGranny’s Attic is a quilter’s yard sale with great bargains on fabric\, books\, patterns and other gently used quilting items\n\n\nVisit the Silent Auction and bid on quilts\, quilt kits\, or designer patterns.
