Is your child interested in learning more about the game of hockey? The Fairgrounds, Winston-Salem Recreation & Parks, and Wake Forest Club Hockey have partnered to present WePLAY Hockey, an after-school program for kids ages 5-12. There will be 3 sessions starting October 29th. Each session will meet every Tuesday and Thursday in the Arena Ice Rink from 3:15-5:00 PM. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up and are encouraged to stay the entirety of the time, but it’s not required they stay.
Skates will be provided for all players, but they are welcome to bring their own. Gear will not be provided, so it’s encouraged that players bring their own if they have it.
WePLAY Hockey is designed to offer a fun and relaxed environment from students with full experience to beginning hockey players with little to no experience. Skills, teamwork, and game action will all be used to create a positive learning environment. ALL skill levels are welcome!
