 LOCATION:  Winston-Salem Fairgrounds/Carolina Classic Fair

WORK SCHEDULE: Part-time (as needed for events)

SALARY RANGE: $15 per hour

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  This position will greet patrons and make them feel special and excited to be at the fairgrounds. The job includes helping patrons find their seats as well as finding other amenities that the Winston-Salem Fairgrounds offers to the patrons. Individuals considering this position must have excellent communication skills, excellent personal skills, and possess the ability to think quickly on their feet.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Must have and outgoing, friendly, helpful nature. Must be able to solve problems and answer questions quickly and effectively. Must possess excellent communication skills. All applicants must enjoy being around people and interacting with the public.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: (Reasonable accommodations may substitute any physical requirements listed): Must be able to stand on concrete for long periods of time (5 – 6 hours) as well as maneuvering up and down steps.

THIS POSITION IS “NON-EXEMPT” AND IS ELIGIBLE FOR OVERTIME PAY.
