SALARY RANGE:

$15 Hourly

DESCRIPTION:

Under immediate supervision, performs responsible semi-skilled heavy manual work in the care and set up of City buildings; does related work as required.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Loads, unloads, and sets up equipment/materials (chairs, tables, staging, curtains) possibly transported by truck; double check set ups with supervisor and clean buildings as necessary.

TYPICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience: Any combination of education and expirence equivalent to completion of the seventh grade and some building cleaning experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: General knowledge of building cleaning practices, supplies and equipment and ability to use them economically and efficiently; ability to understand oral and written directions; ability to get along with others;p ability to read and write.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:

Physical Requirements: (Reasonable accommodations may substitute for physical requirements listed below): Must be able to lift or move up to 50lbs. and maneuver up to 1 mile; must be able to work with large and small objects. This position will work both indoors and outdoors and may be exposed to changing weather, adverse smells and sights, loud smells, and repetitive operations.
