About NASP: The National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) is an in-school program aimed at improving educational performance among students in grades 4 – 12. Through this program, students are learning focus, self-control, discipline, patience, and the life lessons required to be successful in the classroom and in life. Top finishers in this tournament will qualify for the national tournament in May. NASP® is an activity that doesn’t discriminate based on popularity, athletic skill, gender, size, or academic ability. It’s a different kind of team sport. It’s open to any student. Its biggest supporters are professional educators. Teams come together around one thing: Archery. Click here to learn more NASP.
Pre-registration will open for the 2026 State Tournament will open on 1-25-2026 and will close on 1-31-2026. This will allow coaches to get their archer entered so tiers can be assigned.
During pre-registration, coaches will need to specify their preferred shooting times. You need to select ALL flight times that you are willing to accept. If you do not, there is no guarantee that your school will be seeded there.
When pre-registration closes, the auto assign process will place tier 1 schools in flights based on the preferences provided.
Registration will open on 2-3-2026 to allow Schools to move around and unplaced schools to select any remaining flight positions.
Tier 1 will be:
• Top 12 elementary teams
• Top 10 Middle School Teams
• Top 8 high school teams
• Individuals in the top 12 individuals if not on a team.
• This will be pulled from the NASP Tournament site of all teams and archers who competed in a 25-26 NC State Qualifier event. Coaches and archers can see the rankings at any time.
Tier 2 will be all others who participated in an NC State Qualifier. This will open on 2-4-2026
Please make sure you have the correct T-shirt sizes for your archers and this order will be placed based on your sizes when you register.
