Is your child interested in learning more about hockey? The Fairgrounds, Winston-Salem Recreation & Parks, and Wake Forest Ice Hockey have partnered to present WePlay Hockey, an after-school program for kids ages 5-12. WePlay Hockey is designed to offer a fun and relaxed environment for players of all skill levels. Skills, teamwork, and game action will all be used to create a positive learning environment!
There will be 3 sessions starting October 29th. Each session will meet every Tuesday and Thursday in the Arena Ice Rink from 3:15-5:00 PM. Parents are responsible for drop-off and pick-up. It’s encouraged that parents stay the entirety of the session, but it’s not required.
Skates will be provided for all players, but they are welcome to bring their own. Gear is not provided, so it’s encouraged that players bring their own if they have it.
Registration Information
- All participants must sign up through the W-S Rec and Parks’ website, linked HERE
- All participants must also register with USA Hockey for a one-time fee of $15-61 (dependent on player’s age). Register with USA Hockey HERE. This fee is additional to the W-S Rec & Parks’ registration fee.

- $175/session (includes team jersey)
- $275/session (includes team jersey and gear to keep)
