About: Santa’s Helper was founded in 1986 by former Wake Forest running back, Chip Rives. Each year, dedicated board members team up with more than a hundred current Deacon athletes to buy, wrap, and deliver presents and books to nearly 1,000 deserving children in the Winston-Salem, NC area. The Fairgrounds is excited to help support this cherished organization and tradition in 2025!
