XGrandstand Building
Request Information Building DiagramThe Winston-Salem Fairgrounds Grandstand has been the venue of choice for many up and coming music stars, rodeos, and other off road dirt events. Each year during the Carolina Classic Fair the Grandstand is host to Figure 8 racing, demo derby, and live concert events! The Grandstand can seat up to 5,000 patrons and can host a variety of outdoor events year round.

Request Information Building DiagramThe W-S Fairgrounds Arena is a 4,000-seat multi-purpose, 28,000 sq foot arena in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Built in 1989, it was formerly home to the Winston-Salem Thunderbirds, Winston-Salem Mammoths, Winston-Salem IceHawks, Winston-Salem T-Birds, Winston-Salem Polar Twins, and Twin City Cyclones ice hockey teams. Currently, the Arena is home to public ice skating in the months from October – March, following the Carolina Classic Fair.
It also serves as an occasional concert and entertainment venue, hosting Bob Dylan on two occasions, in 1991 & 2002, Wiz Khalifa in 2011, Tiesto in 2010, TNA Wrestling, and Swan Lake in 2014 to name a few. The venue is also used year-round for trade shows, company functions, high school graduations, public relations events, and much more.
